Musing of the day:
In order to shut out the loud voices of others, I need to focus on my own voice and listen to myself. But how do I listen to myself? Can I even recognize my own voice?
Through journaling? Allowing my invisible inner thoughts, feelings and conversations to take physical form on paper? Through taking notes? Recording my responses and aha moments as I interact with a book, music or movie?
I think taking the time to regularly write down what we think and feel is essential in our effort to find and pay attention to our own voice intentionally.
What do you think? Do you have any other suggestions?
